About
What’s a tongue twister? Cambridge Dictionary defines it as “a sentence or phrase that is intended to be difficult to say, especially when repeated quickly and often”. Wikipedia defines a tongue twister as a phrase that is designed to be difficult to articulate properly, and can be used as a type of spoken (or sung) word game. They are used as exercises to improve pronunciation and fluency. Some produce results that are humorous (or humorously vulgar) when they are mispronounced, yet others simply rely on the confusion and mistakes of the speaker for their amusement value.
